Valencia is Spain's third-largest city with a population of approx. 800.000 that invites one and all to enjoy its diversity and unforgettable charisma. It is a city of contrasts, proud of its illustrious, deep-rooted history whilst being at the cutting edge of all the latest social and technological developments.

Its Mediterranean climate tends to be mild all year around and is certainly a cutting argument for the city to host big international sport events as the America's Cup and the Formula 1 during the next years.

One of Spain's greatest folk festivals, Las Fallas, takes place every March when citizens enjoy a week long party with fireworks and massive bonfires night over night. Gastronomically, the region is home to paella, Spain's most famous dish and of course, place of many traditional “tapas bars” as well as “haute cuisine” restaurants. The major tourist attraction is the amazing City of Arts and Sciences, which attracts 4 million annual visitors. Since 2007 Valencia is undergoing facelift after facelift due to the international sport events that are hosted by the city year after year.
